Training & Consultation

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over two decades of experience in a variety of settings, Melissa Grisi, LCSW, has an extensive skill set to share with other mental health providers. Melissa provides specialized clinical consultation and training to help mental health providers confidently integrate trauma-informed care into their practice to ensure competence and confidence to navigate the complexities we face in our work. In addition, Melissa is an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and offers individual and group consultation for both new EMDR Clinicians working towards EMDR Certification and experienced EMDR Therapists who want to enhance their skill set.

EMDR CONSULTATION wITH a SOMATIC FOCUS

As an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, Melissa offers individual and group consultation for clinicians who want to integrate EMDR with somatic, nervous system–informed approaches, including Somatic Experiencing® and Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY). Consultation emphasizes working with the body as an essential part of trauma healing, supporting both clinical effectiveness and therapist sustainability.

Melissa’s approach is collaborative, trauma-sensitive, and grounded in an understanding of autonomic regulation, embodiment, and choice. Melissa supports EMDR Therapists in navigating complex and developmental trauma, deepening resourcing and stabilization, and skillfully integrating somatic awareness into EMDR case conceptualization and processing.

Consultation is available for clinicians pursuing EMDR certification as well as those seeking to expand their somatic competence, refine clinical decision-making, and build confidence in working at the pace of the nervous system. Together, we create a supportive space for learning, reflection, and embodied clinical growth.

Consultation for various topics and areas of interest are available for LCSWs, other licensed mental health therapists, and other mental health disciplines, healers and students. Rates begin at $175 per hour. Contact us directly to discuss your consultation needs.

TRAINING

Blue Sky Therapy offers trainings on various topics and we can also customize training for your needs.
We offer trainings for mental health providers, non-profit organizations, and small and large businesses.
Rates begin at $175 per hour and are dependent on the size of your group. We may be able to offer a reduced rate to non-profit organizations and specifically to local organizations providing mental health, addiction and social services.
