Life can be hard sometimes and the human experience can be challenging. Often within those challenges are powerful opportunities for growth and healing. Blue Sky Therapy can provide support, strategies, skills and tools in a nonjudgmental, compassionate environment. Our approach is collaborative and strengths-based. Together we can explore your feelings, thoughts, history, beliefs, and patterns — at your pace. Therapy is an incredible opportunity to discover yourself and develop deep self-awareness and clarity.

We offer a spectrum of clinical services to create a unique plan to support each individual's personal process of healing. Melissa is trained and experienced in the following: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Gottman Method Relationship Therapy, relapse prevention and somatic interventions including TCTSY (Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga) and Somatic Experiencing (SE). Individual therapy is available to adults ages 18 and up.

We can help with:

  • Trauma - Including but not limited to: PTSD, Complex PTSD (CPTSD), sexual trauma and MST (Military Sexual Trauma), attachment trauma, betrayal trauma, combat trauma, traumatic grief, intergenerational trauma, traumatic loss, workplace trauma and adverse life events.

  • Compulsive Behaviors, Addiction and Relapse Prevention

  • Couples Counseling

  • Grief and Loss


  • Relationship Issues including Boundaries, Codependency and People-Pleasing

  • Military Population (Active duty, Veterans and Military Spouses)

53-60 minute sessions.
